Flight Simulator using Microsoft Excel

If you have Excel 7.0 you can find the embedded flight simulator that was inexplicably hidden by maddened programmers deep inside Excel 97.

Print these instructions:

To access the flight simulator:

Open a new blank Excel worksheet.

Press F5 (go to function) and type X97:L97 in the reference block:  click OK.

Hit the "Tab" key. You should now be in cell M97.

Hold "Ctrl + Shift" while clicking once on the "Chart Wizard" icon. (That's the one at the top with the blue-yellow-red bar chart).

After a few moments your horizon should appear and you can go flying. Look for the monolith with the programmer credits.

Controls: Use your mouse

Moving the mouse sideways moves you sideways.

Acceleration depends on mouse acceleration. Left click zooms in, right click zooms out.

Exit the screen by pressing "Ctrl+Shift+Esc"

Caution: On some systems, when exiting the simulator your video colors may change. To return to original colors, reboot using"Control, Alt Delete."

Have Fun!!!!!!
