STUDY RESULTS:

Notice in the above study, the TRIMMED TONS chart peaks at 720 tons (654 metric tons) at the 7000 FPM (2134 MPM) winder intersection. In the top chart, the equivalent PM speed at the 7000 FPM (2134 MPM) intersection is 4003 FPM.(1220 MPM). Our study is indexed at a PM operating speed of 4000 FPM.(1219 MPM) The study reports that based on the data inputs, the winder must average 7000 FPM (2134 MPM) operating speed to maintain production parity with the paper machine.
